Who We Are
Hidalgo is an exciting evangelism and discipleship-focused ministry based in a primarily Hispanic apartment community in Dallas, north of Love Field Airport and Bachman Lake.
Since 2002, our goal has focused on joyfully developing true followers of Jesus Christ who become reproducing leaders springing up from within the community.
We would love to build a church that looks much like the early church in Acts. In addition to worshiping together, imagine a community where neighbors join together in small groups to welcome people who move into their neighborhood. Imagine neighbors who will support one another as if they were family in times of grief and loss. Imagine children turning from lives of potential theft, drugs, and vandalism to lives of leadership and service. Imagine youth teaching the younger kids, as adults disciple youth.
