Choosing Bibles to Engage Our Kids
No spiritual guidance from parents?
Over 90% of people who live in apartments in the USA are unchurched, unsaved, or both. So the kids we minister to may not have any source of biblical guidance in the home. That’s one reason we’ve decided to invest more in Bibles that can engage the kids, even when on their own. For our 2nd through 6th graders, we’ve chosen the Adventure Bible for Early Readers. This Bible has so many additional explanations and colorful ways to engage a child’s attention, even when they’re sitting in their apartment with no one to encourage their Bible exploration.

For our Kindergarten and 1st graders, we’ll be giving the bilingual Jesus Storybook Bible / Biblia para niños, Historias de Jesús. We hope that parents (whether Spanish- or English-speaking) will read these to their kids.
